Sankarsana Prabhu and his wife Gaura Shakti Devi Dasi from the ISKM temple in Bali have established a new preaching center to spread the teachings of Lord Caitanya.
Last month His Grace Sundar Gopal Prabhu and Tattvavit Prabhu made a short visit to Bali to help establish the Ritvik system against all odds. Bali has 3 major Iskcon temples totaling over 1000 devotees both fulltime and congregation.
During their stay, the very first Ritvik initiation ceremony was conducted in which Gaura Shakti Devi Dasi was the recipient. Following the ceremony, a Harinam in Denpasar central park was performed and the following day and by Krsna’s grace, they came across a fortunate soul Bhakta Putu who has taken interest in the movement.
The newly married grhastha couple have now held many more Harinams since the departure of the Singapore devotees with greater success! Bhakta Komang a local devotee took the initiative to preach openly and distribute Prabhupada’s books to his friends and colleagues at the university and has recently come across a devotee from Iskcon who has accepted the Ritvik system.
