Bhaktin Niki left her body on the 26th of Dec. 2016. She was 42.
Bhaktin Niki was born in Hungary on the 25th of November, 1974. She lived in Tibet and Mongolia for years. She spoke many languages, she was warm-hearted and sensitive. She didn’t tolerate duplicity and always stood for the truth. She was only 14 when she read the Bhagavad-gītā As It Is and she immediately became interested in Kṛṣṇa consciousness. She has always been a spiritually inclined person. This can be attested to by anyone and everyone who knew her. She was also a very talented artist. She helped in painting and decorating many temples.

She was a single mother and left behind two daughters of ages 19 and 11.

She had been waiting for initiation for years from ISKCON but actually she was very much attached to Śrīla Prabhupāda. She was very pleased to get in touch with the ISKM devotees as she was very glad that she can be connected to Śrīla Prabhupāda through the bona fide Ṛtvik system of initiation. She offered much help to ISKM spreading the truth about Śrīla Prabhupāda’s position as the sole dīkṣā-guru in Zurich, Switzerland where she lived.
But Kṛṣṇa seemed to have a different plan for her. She went out shopping on the 26th of December, 2016 and suddenly collapsed out of pulmonary embolism.
We feel deeply grateful for her sincere service to Śrīla Prabhupāda and Kṛṣṇa and we request the blessings of all Vaiṣṇavas so that she quickly attain Lord Kṛṣṇa’s abode and serve Him eternally in complete knowledge and bliss!!
