One of the best ways to engage in Krsna consciousness is to utilize our talents in the service of the Supreme Lord. Srila Prabhupada was so expert that he engaged thousands of devotees in various services based on their talents. One of the most important service was engaging talented artists by utilizing their natural artistic inclination in painting pictures of Krishna for his transcendental books.
Srila Prabhupada called these paintings “windows to the spiritual world,”. He inspired hundreds of artists to create Krishna paintings that transcends time, space, and place and transports the reader to the spiritual world. These artworks are very dear to Srila Prabhupada and goes hand in hand with book distributions which is the best kirtana we can perform. “Book distribution is the best kirtana”.
