Devotees all over the world celebrated the divine appearance day of Srimati Radharani the eternal consort of Sri Krishna. It is a very significant festival for devotees of Lord Krishna. Radharani is the mother of the entire universe and on this auspicious day devotees pray to Her to bless them with Krishna-bhakti.
Radhashtami is a special opportunity to glorify Srimati Radharani, under whose care one can attain perfection in devotional service.
On the same day, devotees also celebrated a very special annual festival – the Radha-Krishna Swan Boat Festival. A beautiful swan-shaped boat will host the Utsava-Deities of Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha-Madanamohan in a beautifully-decorated, big pool of water.
Everyone will get a chance to pull Their Lordships on the boat around the pool. Throughout the entire festival, transcendental bhajans glorifying the divine couple Sri Sri Radha Krishna are sung by devotees and everybody is welcome to participate in them. A sumptuous Prasadam feast will then be served to all the devotees and guests.
