ISKM Odisha Jagannath Temple has organized its first Pilgrimage trip to Mayapur-Navadvipa Dham ,the birthplace of Lord Chaitanya and headquarters of Gaudiya Vaishnava.
ISKM Odisha is committed to organise a minimum of 12 spiritual trips in a calendar year, in order to facilitate the preaching process of making new devotees and for the devotees to have further spiritual advancement in a very spiritually conducive atmosphere. We had a record breaking 50 devotees registered for this pilgrimage.
SB 4.8.42 purport:
Places of pilgrimage yield a special advantage for a devotee in quickly advancing his spiritual life. Lord Krishna lives everywhere, but still it is very easy to approach Him in holy places of pilgrimage because these places are inhabited by great sages.
CC Madhya 11.112 purport:
Visiting a holy place of pilgrimage means neutralising the reactions of a sinful life.
SB 1.13.10 purport:
The holy places all over the earth are meant for purifying the polluted consciousness of the human being by an atmosphere surcharged with the presence of the Lord’s unalloyed devotees.

naradhitam nava-vanam vraja eva dure
aradhito dvija-suto vraja-nagaras te
naradhito dvija-suto na taveha krsnah
If you worship the nine islands of Navadvipa, you are actually worshiping Vrndavana and can easily gain entrance into that confidential place. If you don’t worship and take shelter of Navadvipa-dhama, Vrndavana will be very far away from you.
