Subhadra Sundar mataji has approached and knocked on more than 3360 houses to distribute Srila Prabhupada books in various apartments at ISKM LA, USA. The numbers are simply marvellous. Her immense enthusiasm and determination in distributing books would be very pleasing to Srila Prabhupada and very encouraging and inspiring to all devotees to execute their devotional service unfailing in all circumstances.

In Nectar of Instruction Text 3, one of the favourable principles for devotional service is being enthusiastic (utsāhāt).
Srila Prabhupada explains, Without enthusiasm, one cannot be successful. Even in the material world one has to be very enthusiastic in his particular field of activity in order to become successful. A student, businessman, artist or anyone else who wants success in his line must be enthusiastic. Similarly, one has to be very enthusiastic in devotional service. Enthusiasm means action, but action for whom? The answer is that one should always act for Kṛṣṇa.
In a letter to Satswarupa Das, 15.02.1973, Srila Prabhupada speaks about how we should be determined whether there is success or failure it does not matter. Srila Prabhupada: We are trying to please Krishna that is all. We must always sincerely try to do our best with great determination. This is a transcendental position. Success or failure, this is not our business. We leave that up to Krishna. My guru maharaja said: ‘It does not matter if no one comes to hear. You go on with your chanting. If no one hears you, the walls will hear.’ But this does not mean that we should sit down some place and simply chant Hare Krishna for our own benefit. We should be always anxious to save the cripple-minded people with the science of Krishna consciousness.
