The devotees of Sri Krishna Mandir Philippines have recently embarked on a new service of distributing Prasadam to the Public on a daily basis through their new eatery – Govinda’s Kitchen. And since the Eatery is located in the temple premises itself, it is a good opportunity for us to introduce the customers to some basic Philosophy of Krishna Consciousness and invite them for the Sunday Love Feast. We are already seeing excellent results ever since we started this program of distributing Prasadam. Some people who got to know us through the Eatery have already attended the Sunday Program last week and taken up the process of chanting and purchased some books of Srila Prabhupada. It has also helped us gain more popularity in the area being one of the very few Vegetarian food outlets.

The Eatery is headed by Manjukesi Mataji who has been a dedicated full-time devotee in the temple. In our daily menu we serve a variety of viands for lunch and samosas, cookies and breads for snacks. And our ‘Halo-Halo’ definitely needs a mention as it is one of our best-sellers to beat the summer’s heat. All these are available for very minimal prices as compared to other places because our intention is not to make huge profits out of it but to let them experience the Higher Taste of Krishna Prasadam, which will sow the seed of Krishna Consciousness within their hearts. And all proceeds from this eatery are utilized for feeding hungry homeless children on the streets of Metro Manila.
