We are very happy to announce that we have made a new Bhaktin. Bhaktin Ann has come in touch with ISKCON Hong Kong about a year ago. She then searched for a temple in China on Youtube and found our videos. She followed the link in the description and got our contact information from the ISKM website.
After having contacted me some time ago while the Covid-19 was still very serious in China, I told her that she could come once things start to get back to normal. She did so today and she really liked it. She attended the ārati and kīrtana as well as Bhagavad-gītā class.
She really enjoyed singing and dancing and she liked the lecture. In fact, she liked the Bhagavad-gītā so much that when I ask her if she wanted a book she said that she wanted the Bhagavad-gītā. She decided to take the English version as her English is very good.
She works for a yoga magazine that has it’s headquarter in the U.S.A, such contact could open many future preaching opportunities.
She said that she will be reading daily and will start to chant on her Rudrākṣa beads (Lord Siva’s mala).
She stays only 40 minutes away by bicycle and she said that she will be coming on a regular basis. She is indeed a very good prospect of becoming a serious devotee. We ask for the blessings of all devotees her to please pray for her spiritual advancement.
This shows that despite being in a country where religions are banned and despite being checked by a deadly virus, still, if one tries, Lord Kṛṣṇa will make arrangement to make one’s preaching successful.
We would like to thank His Grace Sundar Gopāl prabhu, whose enthusiasm and patience are the pillars on which ISKM as been built. From his example we can see what steady devotion to Śrīla Prabhupāda is.
