At ISKM Puducherry, we had a wonderful celebration commemorating the appearance day of Lord Rāma —Śrī Rāma Navami — on the 5th of April, 2017. The program started with Harināma Saṅkīrtana followed by Sandhyā-ārati in the evening. The devotees took part in the celebration joyfully by singing and dancing with sweet Harināma Saṅkīrtana.
After the ārati, a special discourse was given by Prahlād Bhakta Prabhu, President, ISKM Puducherry on the pastimes of Lord Rāmacandra. After the discourse, mahā-abhiṣeka ceremony was performed for Śāligrāma Śilā deities who are not different from Lord Rāmacandra.
The festival was concluded with sumptuous Kṛṣṇa prasādam feast. Jaya Śrī Rāma!!
