Nimāi Nitāi Prabhu in China takes us along as he prepares cookies prasādam with his wife and distributes them to people while raising funds for further prasādam distribution. He also shares with us clips of his wife and him conducting the online WeChat classes, temple programs of maṅgala-ārati, guru-pūjā and even an iṣṭa-goṣṭhī (meeting and discussion of spiritual matters with devotees.)

It is indeed very inspiring to see a young couple blissfully carrying out the mission of Śrīla Prabhupāda so nicely under greatly challenging conditions in China.

In his video, he shares the following instructive quotes regarding Kṛṣṇa-prasādam distribution:

“One should offer prasāda to the demigods, the saintly persons, one’s forefathers, the people in general, one’s family members, one’s relatives and one’s friends, seeing them all as devotees of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.” — Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 7.15.6.

“… prasāda is transcendental. It is not material thing. So one must have faith that it is not material. It cannot be infected by any material things. In this way prasāda should be taken. It is called prasāda-sevā, not “prasāda enjoyment.” Sevā means giving service. Prasāda is as good as Kṛṣṇa; therefore prasāda should be respected as good as Kṛṣṇa. As soon as one gets prasādam, immediately he touches on the head because it is Kṛṣṇa, absolute.” — Śrīla Prabhupāda’s lecture on Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 6.1.18 on July 1, 1975 in Denver, Colorado, USA.

“This prasādam distribution is very important. Do it nicely. Our main programs are distributing prasādam and saṅkīrtana.” — Śrīla Prabhupāda’s letter to Brisakapi (Vṛṣākapi), January 19, 1977

Jaya Śrīla Prabhupāda! Hare Kṛṣṇa!
